HoKi-media collects the following personal data through our Hungarian grammar app:

  • Name
  • Address
  • City of residence
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Game data and progress information within the app

4. For what purposes do we use your data?

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Managing your account and subscription (Basic €36,00/year or Premium €48,00/year)
  • Monitoring and saving your progress within the app
  • Sending communications regarding your account and our services
  • Improving our services and app functionality
  • Complying with legal obligations

5. How long do we retain your data?

HoKi-media does not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. We apply the following retention periods:

  • Account data: for the duration of your subscription plus 1 year after termination
  • Game data and progress: for the duration of your subscription plus 1 year after termination
  • Financial data: 7 years in accordance with tax legislation

6. Do we share your data with third parties?

HoKi-media will NEVER sell your data to third parties.

We only share your personal data with third parties when this is necessary for the performance of our services or when we are legally required to do so.

7. Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to gain insight into how users find our app. We do not use Google Analytics. Google Search Console does not collect personal data from individual users.

8. Security of your data

HoKi-media takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Your data is stored in a secure MySQL database with access control.

9. Your rights

Under applicable privacy legislation, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access to your personal data
  • Right to rectification of incorrect data
  • Right to erasure of your data (right to be forgotten)
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object to processing

HoKi-media reserves the right to amend this privacy policy. We advise you to consult this privacy policy regularly. The most recent version is always available in the app.

Should you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, we kindly ask you to contact us directly. You also have the right to submit a complaint to the Hungarian supervisory authority (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság - NAIH).
